lifecycle. We are currently looking for a Linux Administrator for our =
office in Denver, Colorado.
Position Summary=20
The Administrator will be accountable for the installation, maintenance =
and trouble-shooting of Linux servers. This individual will also do the =
required evaluation of hardware and software for projects, design as =
well as a continual audit of secure platforms.
Essential Functions=20
*Perform server builds, shell scripting, performance tuning and support.
*Implement hardware and software RAID solutions.
*Set up day - to -day maintenance of production system.
*Will perform system performance & stability monitoring and =
optimization.
*Incident detection and handling.
*Resource monitoring, scaling of infrastructure as needed.
Minimum Essential Requirements=20
3-5 years experience as a Linux Administrator.=20
High School Diploma or GED required.=20
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Massive data storage (RAID) network management experience.
Working knowledge of MPI.
Excellent Troubleshooting and problem solving skills with little =
supervision (network, hardware, OS and performance related problems.)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Windows server OS experience a plus.
Linux certification a plus.
System design experience.
Linux cluster management experience.
Geophysical or other high-end data processing background.
